4K^Creolophus [2:1] Sky, winner of WCG 2007 WC3 tournament!

After beating two of the biggest favourites to win WCG 2007, China
Skyhas once again reached the final. For the third consecutive time, the Chinese has shown the world that he is a monster on LAN, and has left both Korea, South Moon and Netherlands Grubby behind with clear 2-0 defeats. So far Sky has only dropped one single map in the tournament, when he lost to SoJu in the groupstage. He is now looking for his fourth 2-0 victory in the Single Elimination, when he faces Nightelf player Norway Creolophus in the Grand Final of WCG 2007.

While many had Sky as one of the favourites prior to the tournament, the inactive Creolophus was given little attention. After his astonishing 2nd place at ESWC 2007 and his victory in BNet Season V, the Norwegian decided to retire from professional gaming. Because of this, no one believed that he would be able to reach the final, and wrote him off before he even arrived in Seattle. But even though he has been struggling on his way through the tournament, losing two games in the groupstage, dropping a map in every round of the Single Elimination, Creolophus has made it to the Grand Final.

After a great bo3 series Creolophus won the final in what seems to be his last event in the pro scene we here at Meetyourmakers would like to congratulate Creolophus for this amazing achivment.

While Sky and Creolophus progressed to the Grand Final, both Korea, South Moon and Russian Fede- XyLigan were denied the chance of victory. Instead they were left fighting for the 3rd place, with the Russian trying to avoid repeating the history and getting a 4th place two years in a row. XyLigan was left begging for better luck though, as Moon beat him 2-1 to grab the Bronze.

None expected Creolophus to come that far in the tournament but it looks like he is still good enough to compete with the best and maybe even to repeat his efforts he made in ESWC 2007 or BlizzCon.
But Sky showed a pretty stable performance so far and was able to defeat Moon in the semi finals.
So, we got both players winning their semi finals against the race their opponents will play next
